Unions needed more than ever
Great article Mr. Benns. For decades the corporate world has effectively been permeating propaganda that unions were once needed but not any longer.

Lindsay downtown: Hallmark beautiful, too bad about the cars
The letter to the editor in the February edition of the Advocate by Wayne Medford, outlining a visionary plan for getting rid of parked cars in Lindsay’s downtown was inspiring.
Create more pressure for better bus service
I fully agree with Dr. Michael Moreton’s letter (Sept. Advocate) regarding the poor bus services from Toronto to Lindsay and as such I have written many letters to GO Transit, TOK Coachlines and to our city council.
This election is important: So where’s the public interest?
I have attended two meet and greets during this election one at the Lindsay Armory and one in Bobcaygeon at the community centre and I have to ask, why aren’t we seeing a better turnout at these events?
