YUK YUK’S Comedy at Academy for Food Source

In honour of International Women’s Day on March 8 Kawartha Lakes Food Source is excited to present a Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Event headlining Adrienne Fish and Martha Chaves.

Adrienne Fish has been making her mark on Canada’s comedy scene. Based out of Toronto, Adrienne recently recorded her second nationally aired TV taping, has appeared on CBC’s The Debaters, and was nominated by NOW Magazine as Toronto’s Best Female Stand-up.

Tickets are $35 (tax included) and all proceeds go to the Kawartha Lakes Food Source. This is an age of majority event. Thank you to 91.9 BOB FM for being our exclusive media sponsor!

Kawartha Lakes Food Source is a not for profit organization that has been serving the community for almost 15 years. We are the warehouse that procures and stores food from reclamation and donations and supplies it on a fair share basis to the nine food banks within the City of Kawartha Lakes.

They also support 21 schools with their breakfast/snack programs and rely solely on donations from the community and successful applications to foundations and grants – they do not receive support from any level of government.
