Worried about a loved one in storm’s aftermath? Paramedics will do wellness checks

The Kawartha Lakes Community Paramedic team is offering to do health and well-being checks throughout the community.
If you would like our Community Paramedics to check on a family member, friend, vulnerable person or whomever, this weekend (April 5 and April 6), please email and include the person’s name, address and phone number.
Once the weekend is over (week of April 7 onwards), we ask that you send the requests to our Customer Service team, following the below instructions.
How to book a health and well-being check:

Include the person’s name, address, and phone number.
Monday April 7 and afterward, contact Customer Service:
705-324-9411 ext. 0 (Mon–Fri, 8:30am–4:30pm)
Paramedics will call first, and if there’s no response, they’ll visit the address.
