Women in Business Profile: Rebekah McCracken

After 20 years in the Lindsay area, Kawartha Lakes feels like home to Rebekah McCracken, who grew up in nearby Uxbridge.

Three years ago Rebekah purchased Hamilton Creek from owner Chery Reid, who was set to retire. Now, the ‘smartly casual’ business is celebrating its 27^th anniversary this month. In 2017, Rebekah decided to open their Hamilton Creek Travel Trends location across the street.

“We were interested in offering our customers a larger selection of swimwear, casual travel styles and footwear year round.”

Rebekah says she loves “helping women feel their best,” with the perfect outfit, and says she greatly values the sense of community in the downtown core. She also appreciates the fact that so many loyal customers “shop local.”
