VCCS announces Brenda Roxburgh as new ED
VCCS Employment Services has announced Brenda Roxburgh as the new executive director of the not-for-profit organization. VCCS Employment Services recently celebrated 30 years of providing employment services in the City of Kawartha Lakes.
After 31 years of leading VCCS, Carol Timlin, outgoing executive director announced her intentions to retire in spring 2019. After undertaking a search for the next ED, the board was very pleased to have Roxburgh succeed Timlin.
Roxburgh has been with VCCS since 1997 and has served as the assistant executive director since 2012. She is passionate about social enterprise, contributing to many community projects through both her role with VCCS and her volunteer work within the community.
VCCS is the sole service provider for Employment Ontario’s programs and services in the City of Kawartha Lakes. VCCS provides over $1 million each year to over 2,000 local employers and job seekers to strengthen the local labour market
The board would like to thank Timlin for 31 years of leadership. Under her direction VCCS was founded and has become a model not-for-profit organization bringing together employers and job seekers.
Congratulations Brenda
