Trench coats taken in Christmas break and enter

By Lindsay Advocate

A break and enter to a Kent Street West clothier early Christmas morning netted crooks some unique full-length trench coats and other clothing items.

Kawartha Lakes Police responded to an alarm at the store early Christmas morning and discovered that a large stone had been used to smash out a front window of the store.

Once inside thieves removed a number of clothing items including some unique Scala Milano brand dark coloured trench coats, shorts and other clothing items.

It appears the suspect(s) then fled to a vehicle that had been parked on William Street South.

Kawartha Lakes Police are asking that anyone who may have information regarding the break and enter contact them at 705.324.5252 or if you wish to provide your information anonymously you can do so through Crimestoppers at 1.800.222.TIPS (8477).
