Three arrested following robbery at downtown pharmacy
On Saturday March 24, shortly after 10 am a man entered a downtown Lindsay pharmacy on Kent Street west and demanded property from a store employee.
The male filled a bag with property from the business, then left walking west towards William Street.
No staff member of the business was harmed during the incident.
Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service obtained statements from witnesses and collected video surveillance from downtown Lindsay businesses.
Through this investigation the male who entered the store, as well as two accomplices were identified.
At 2 pm on the same day, the three persons suspected of the robbery attended the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service for an unrelated matter.
All three were arrested by police and a vehicle used by the suspects was seized. Now, 51-year-old Donald Francis Vaillancourt of Lindsay has been charged with robbery, disguise with intent, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 and possession of a controlled substance.
Vaillancourt was held in custody to attend a bail hearing on March 25 and was subsequently remanded into custody. As well, 35-year-old Raymond Albert Smoke of Lindsay has been charged with robbery, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, possession of a controlled substance and failing to comply with the conditions of his probation order.

As well, 26-year-old Katrina Agelakoudis of Markham has been charged with robbery, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, possession of a controlled substance and failing to comply with the conditions of her probation order.
Agelakoudis will make her first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice on April 26.
