Tattoo parlour in Lindsay part of flash fundraiser event
A local business, Kent Street Tattoo, owned and staffed by long time Lindsay residents, will be donating 100 per cent of the day’s proceeds on June 9 to Kawartha Haliburton Victim Services.
They are taking part in a ‘Still Not Asking For It’ tattoo flash fundraising event, which began in the U.S. and has been expanding around the world.
All proceeds from these events will be donated to local and national organizations, dedicated to prevention, recovery and justice for sexual assault and rape recovery.
More than 55 tattoo shops around the world will be contributing their time.
Still Not Asking For It was founded by Ashley Love and Jessica Pilar in 2015.
