Suspect arrested after two vehicles damaged

 On June 18 a City of Kawartha Lakes city employee observed a man use a knife to scratch the paint on two unoccupied vehicles in a downtown Lindsay parking lot.

The man ran from the area after causing the damage but was found a short time later by a City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service constable.

Charged with two counts of mischief to property under $5,000 and carrying a concealed weapon is 20-year-old Chance Dennis Labrie of Lindsay.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on July 19.
