Stolen debit card used at Lindsay stores

On July 13 the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service received a report that a stolen bank card had been used to make purchases at several stores in Lindsay.

The allegation was investigated by police and the male suspect responsible for making purchases on the stolen debit card was identified.

On Monday July 16 the suspect attended the Kawartha Lakes Police Service and turned himself in to police.

Charged with theft under $5,000, four counts of use of a credit card and four counts of possession of property obtained by crime is 28-year-old Joshua David Pidgeon of Lindsay.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on August 23.
