Spend this PA Day at Spooky Skates

Are you looking for something spook-tacular and fun to do on the Friday, Oct. 26 PA Day? Attend the City of Kawartha Lakes PA Day Spooky Skates.

Participants are encouraged to bring their skates and dress in skate-safe costumes or their favourite Halloween colours. All participants will receive a Halloween themed goody bag and will have the chance to take part in some other fun themed activities.

Spooky Skates will take place at the following locations:

*   Little Britain Community Centre from Noon to 2 pm
*   Manvers Community Centre from 2-3 pm

Regular Public Skating admission rates will apply.

The Parks, Recreation and Culture division is looking for volunteers to assist at this event. If you are a high school student looking to gain some volunteer hours, please contact Courtney Boyd, community development coordinator at 705-324-9411 extension 1306.
