Soroptimist International of Kawartha Lakes announces spring raffle winners

Soroptimist International of Kawartha Lakes put smiles on the faces of four people when the winning tickets were drawn for the Soroptimist Spring Raffle. The draw was held in early May at the Lindsay and District Chamber of Commerce office by raffle donor Paul Orchard.

Congratulations to the winning ticket holders:

1st Prize – Queen Size Handmade Quilt – Audrey Quibell (donated by Soroptimist member Roberta Sommerville)

2nd Prize – Golf for Four with two Carts – Cheryl Cameron Smith (donated by Paul Orchard)

3rd Prize – $400 Cash – Gloria Berganza (donated by Soroptimist International of Kawartha Lakes)

4th Prize – Crayola Gift Basket – Sheryl McGill (donated by Crayola)

The proceeds from the raffle, more than $2,900, will be used to support Soroptimist programs for women and girls in our community. A registered charity, Soroptimist International of Kawartha Lakes raises funds through different fundraising activities throughout the year. New members are always welcome.
