Santa Claus is returning to downtown Lindsay
Santa is making his way to downtown Lindsay for the 2023 Lindsay Santa Claus Parade on Sunday November 19. Starting at 2 p.m. at the Recreation Complex on Adelaide Street South and travelling North on Adelaide to Kent Street, the parade will go East down Kent to Lindsay Street – right through the heart of downtown Lindsay. From sport to family traditions, this year’s parade theme – Festive Fun & Games – welcomes the community to highlight their favourite winter pastimes.
The Lindsay Santa Claus Parade, presented by Baker Tilly KDN, will showcase more than 40 registered floats and bands, including the Sudbury Blue Saints, Newbeaver Shrine Club Train, Lindsay Salvation Army Band, Lindsay Pipes and Drums, 2817 RC Army Cadets, and Kawartha Kavaliers. During the parade, Lindsay-Peterborough Movers & Storage will be collecting non-perishable food items on behalf of Kawartha Lakes Food Source and Canada Post will be enroute collecting letters to Santa.
Each year, the Lindsay Santa Claus Parade is organized by a volunteer committee and is made possible through the support of many sponsors, individuals and community organizations.
