Residents invited to mayor’s levee for an afternoon of community and celebration
Mayor Doug Elmslie cordially invites residents and community members to attend a New Year’s Levee to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Kawartha Lakes.
“This upcoming year we are hosting a New Year’s Levee to celebrate the City’s 25 Anniversary,” said Elmslie. “We have come a long way from where we started 25 years ago, and this is an opportunity to come together and reflect on what makes Kawartha Lakes a wonderful municipality to live and work in. I hope residents will join us as we look forward to the next 25 years.”
Date: Sunday Jan. 4
Time: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Place: Victoria Park Armoury, 210 Kent St W, Lindsay
Enjoy light refreshments with the mayor and members of council and share your hopes for the next 25 years.
This free event is open to the public, however a donation to Kawartha Food Source or A Place Called Home is encouraged.

In keeping with community spirit, an event like this affords the opportunity to “give back” via donations to the local food bank. Great idea!
