Public invited to view byelection results on April 10
Members of the public are invited to attend in person to view the results of the 2025 Ward 5 By-Election.
Date: Thursday April 10
Time: 8:10 pm
Location: City Hall, 26 Francis Street, Lindsay. Council Chambers and Victoria Room
Members of the public are welcome to gather at City Hall to view the Ward 5 By-Election results. An audio/visual presentation will show in real time the closing of the voting period taking place in Council Chambers at City Hall.
Candidates, scrutineers, and election officials may view the proceedings in Council Chambers. Family and friends of the candidates and the public may view the proceedings in the Victoria Room only.
The voting period will close at 8pm. Voters who have started the internet voting process before 8pm will have time to complete their vote, and voters in line at Lindsay Library or City Hall before 8pm will be allowed to complete their vote. The unofficial results will be announced any time after 8:10pm.
