PRI Engineering launches office in Lindsay
Geotechnical Engineering Consultants, PRI Engineering (PRI), has announced the opening of its new office in downtown Lindsay.
Officially established in 2018, in Mississauga, the company will use the office in Lindsay to expand its services into South Eastern Ontario to support multiple industries including construction, infrastructure and renewable energy. The company’s launch in Lindsay marks a major milestone in PRI’s continued growth.
“We are excited to return home to the Kawartha community to provide regional developers, construction companies and other businesses with local professional engineering services,” said Arash Yazdani, Director of Engineering for PRI.
“Born and raised in Lindsay, I see the importance of establishing a local office to support economic development in the area. Our plan is to continue growing the number of services we offer by hiring local engineers and fostering partnerships with regional educational institutions. We will continue to serve companies across Canada and North America with full project support.”
PRI Engineering is a leading expert in soil mechanics across North America and specializes in geotechnical investigation, material testing and grading plan development.
With hundreds of projects completed in Canada and the northeastern United States, the company is particularly proud of the four recent projects they have completed in the area.
The projects include a geo-technical investigation for a proposed hotel in Lindsay, material testing for the Caroline Street Reconstruction in Lindsay, concrete field testing for the reconstructed Woodville Arena Ice Pad, and conducting a peer review and assisting with the soil management aspects of the proposed Bobcaygeon Beach Development for preparation of the tender documents.
