Overnight break and enter at car dealership

By Lindsay Advocate

Kawartha Lakes Police were called to a Hwy 35 dealership yesterday after an employee discovered that a garage on the property had been entered.

Police arrived at the dealership just south of Hwy 7 soon after the employee made the discovery. It is believed that the storage area was entered sometime between 5 pm on Tuesday and 9 am yesterday morning.

The unknown suspects removed the lock from the garage and took a quantity of tires and rims that were being stored.

Kawartha Lakes Police are asking that anyone who may have information about the break and enter contact them at 705-324-5252 or anonymously through Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
