OPP investigating motor vehicle collison in Argyle

The City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a motor vehicle collision and requesting witnesses to connect with police.

On Sunday, June 28, shortly before 5:25 p.m., members of the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP were dispatched to a collision involving two motor vehicles on Glenarm Road between Simcoe Street and Farms Road just west of Argyle. A motorcyclist travelling westbound and a motor vehicle travelling eastbound collided. The motorcyclist was transported to a Toronto trauma centre with serious injuries.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
