OPP investigating fatal collision on Century Farms Road
The City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fatal collision in Manvers Township.
On Saturday, June 2, at 5:24 p.m., members of the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP were dispatched to a single off-road vehicle collision on Century Farms Road. A 72-year-old male driver from Janetville was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Century Farms Road was closed between Gray Rd. and 7A Highway for the investigation, with assistance from the OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) team. All lanes have since been reopened.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from the area at the time of the incident is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
