Officer locates woman wanted on warrant
On June 21 a City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service constable was patrolling the area of Lindsay Street south when she observed a woman walking in the middle of the street.
The officer recognized the woman and knowing that a warrant had been issued for her arrest, took custody of the woman without incident.
Charged with failing to attend court is 54-year-old Annette Dibattista of Lindsay.
The accused was held in custody and will attend a bail hearing on June 22 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay.
