Lindsay man arrested for threatening roommate

During the evening hours of Jan. 16 Kawartha Lakes Police Service responded to an emergency call made from a Mary Street address in Lindsay.

The investigating officers were informed that an occupant of a shared apartment had threatened to cause bodily harm to his roommate.

It was alleged that personal property belonging to the victim was also damaged during the incident.

A 26-year-old Lindsay man was arrested for mischief to property under $5000, failing to comply with a probation order and two counts of uttering a threat to cause bodily harm.

The accused was held in custody and will attend a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice on Jan. 17.
