Lindsay man arrested: theft, possession stolen property

On Monday March 19 the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service arrested a Lindsay man for theft after it was alleged he stole property from a former acquaintance.

On March 18 the City of Kawartha Lakes Police service received the report of a theft that was alleged to have occurred at a Lindsay area residence.

Follow-up investigation led officers to believe that the accused had taken money from the victim during the nighttime hours of March 16.

Charged with theft under $5000, possession of property obtained by crime and breaching the conditions of his probation order is 21-year-old Jacob Bryans of Lindsay.

The accused will make his first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice on April 19.
