Lindsay area man charged with impaired driving
On February 26 a Kawartha Lakes Police Service constable observed a vehicle driving erratically on Kent Street West in Lindsay.
The officer stopped the vehicle to investigate the driver for impaired driving as the vehicle turned into a business parking lot.
After speaking with the driver, the investigating officer believed the driver was impaired by alcohol.
Now, 35-year-old Adam John Carkner of Ops Township has been arrested and has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in his blood.
The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on March 29.
