La Jeunesse Youth Orchestra returns to Cambridge Street United Church on Dec. 3
Cambridge Street United Church is pleased to welcome back La Jeunesse Youth Orchestra for their biennial Christmas concert, A Christmas Festival, on Sunday December 3, at 3:00 p.m.
Close to 100 musicians will come together as Voices of Victory and Cambridge Street Singers join LJYO, who are celebrating their 25th season. Seasonal favourites like Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride and A Christmas Festival, some lighthearted pieces by the choirs, a couple of singalongs, and other wonderful music will have the audience spellbound.
This tradition started back in 2005 and it is the ninth time LJYO has come to Lindsay (and the first time in four years on account of the COVID-19 pandemic).
Tickets are available from the church office during the week or at the door. Adults $20, students (13 to 18) are $10 and children 12 and under are free. The doors open at 2:30 p.m.
