Kawartha Lakes Police Service in search of stolen excavator and flatbed trailer

Kawartha Lakes Police are investigating after a Kubota excavator and Sure flatbed trailer were stolen from a Highway 36 property.

On Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, at approximately 7:30 a.m., officers were called to the Highway 36 address about the theft of an excavator and trailer. The excavator, which was being stored on the flatbed trailer, was stolen sometime between 8:00 p.m. on Nov. 11 and 8:00 a.m. on Nov. 13, 2023.

The tractor is described as a 2017 orange Kubota mini-excavator, model U55-4.

The trailer is described as a 2018 Sure black flatbed trailer with Ontario licence plate, “R2002H.”
