Kawartha Lakes Paramedic Chief Keith Kirkpatrick set to retire
After 38 years in the paramedic profession, Keith Kirkpatrick, paramedic chief has announced his retirement effective March 29.
“After 38 years in the paramedic profession, I have decided to join my wife Cathy in retirement,” says Kirkpatrick.
“I want to thank the many dedicated professionals I have had the honour of working with over my career. I especially want to thank Kawartha Lakes Paramedic Service from administration to frontline paramedics for their dedication to service excellence. I am proud of all of you and wish you all the best for 2019 and beyond.”
“I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank Keith for his hard work and dedication to the service and to our community over the past approximate 15 years. We will provide information on a retirement farewell event for Keith in the near future,” commented Ron Taylor, CAO.
Deputy Chief, Derek Brown is now serving as acting chief in the interim.
