Kawartha ATV Association raises $10,000 for hospital

Kawartha ATV Association (KATVA) and its members recently organized their annual Poker Run event, turning it into a successful fundraiser for the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation.
The event, held on Saturday, June 3, saw more than 200 participants and received support from 25 volunteers. The funds raised will contribute to the purchase of medical equipment and technology for the hospital.
KATVA representatives, Carolyn Richards, Jesse Wright, and Carolyn LaPorte, visited the Ross Memorial Hospital to present a donation of $10,000. This gift will be used to support the hospital’s new fleet of IV pumps and address priority needs in the Operating Room.
With this latest contribution, KATVA’s total cumulative giving now amounts to $50,500.
Erin Coons, CEO of the RMH Foundation, expressed gratitude for KATVA’s dedication.
“It’s wonderful to see the passion KATVA members have for their trail activities, and it’s very clear that they are equally passionate supporters of patient care at the Ross,” said Erin Coons, RMH Foundation CEO. “Thanks to their enthusiasm and energy, their fundraising efforts have reached a new level of giving on our Donor Recognition Wall. We’re thrilled to feature the KATVA plaque among our Patron donors where they will inspire others to support causes they care about.”
