Impaired driver arrested

Four people charged under the Reopening Ontario Act

On Monday July 16 at 7:20 pm a City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service constable stopped a vehicle travelling on Kent Street West in Lindsay.

The officer determined the driver of the vehicle was impaired by alcohol and arrested him.

Charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in his blood is 38-year-old Adrian Windebank of Cameron.

The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on August 23.
