Children from 4 to 8 years old can look forward to a fun-filled Halloween inspired P.A. Day Nature Camp at Ken Reid Conservation Area on Friday, Oct. 26. Space is limited for the day-long camp and a pizza lunch is included for participants.

“We always get great feedback from our camp participants and parents regarding our nature camp experiences,” said Coordinator, Environmental Programs/GIS Specialist Nancy Aspden. “We’re really looking forward to this camp and have a lot of great activities in store for the kids.”

In keeping with the time of year, the camp will focus on fall and Halloween with an educational and fun fall hike, spooky scavenger hunt and fall themes arts and crafts for the kids.

“The Halloween P.A. Day Nature Camp will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with drop off between 8 and 8:30 a.m. and pick-up between 4 and 4:30 p.m.,” said Aspden. “Space is limited for this popular fall camp so I encourage interested parents to book early to avoid disappointment.”

Parents can register their four to eight year old child or children online by visiting this link.

“This is going to be a great event for kids,” said Aspden. “Fall is a magical time of year at Ken Reid Conservation Area and based on previous years we are expecting this camp to fill up really quickly.”

Cost is $45 per child and includes a pizza lunch.
