Free ‘future’ job fair to show students value of trades

A free ‘future’ job fair is being held at Frost campus of Fleming College in Lindsay on June 4 from 6-8 pm.

The fair will inform Grade 7-10 students and their parents or guardians about the incredible career pathways available in skilled trades, allowing them to hear from students currently enrolled in Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program pathways and to interact with exciting post-secondary programs at Fleming College and Durham College.

Food will be provided to all attendees, and the first 100 students will receive a swag bag and tool kit. Participants can enter a draw to win door prizes, too.
