Four charged in Fieldside Road B&E

Three Lindsay-area men have been charged with break and enter and possession of stolen property, stemming from a mid-September incident on Fieldside Road in Lindsay.

Back on Sept. 13 a home on Fieldside was robbed between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm. The homeowner let police know that earlier that same day a male and female had stopped to ask for directions. The homeowner made a note of the make and model of vehicle that was being driven by the couple. Later that day the homeowner had to leave the residence and discovered the break and enter when they returned. The suspects made off with a quantity of cash, silverware, a small quantity of jewelry and two antique toys.

Kawartha Lakes Police have arrested and charged 36-year-old Jonathan Edwards of Lindsay, 40-year-old Daniel Jamieson of Woodville, and 21-year-old Dillon Perdue of Lindsay. A warrant has been issued for a fourth person, 26-year-old Cherri LeClaire of Oakville. Edwards, Jamieson and Perdue will appear in the Lindsay Court of Justice on Oct. 26.

Jamieson is also being charged by Durham Regional Police with possession of marijuana, possession of fentanyl, removal of a vehicle identification number, possession of proceeds obtained by crime over $5000, break and enter with intent and breach of peace bond.
