Food Basics reopens with pharmacy in major renovation
On Saturday, Food Basics will officially re-open the doors of its newest renovation in Lindsay. Now boasting a pharmacy within the store, the updated Lindsay location will offer more for its loyal customers, according to a media release.
The newly updated location will allow customers to shop for high-quality, budget friendly Irresistibles and Selection products, and will provide a great selection of locally sourced products, fresh meat and produce.
New Produce and Meat Departments, with an increased assortment and spacious layout, new Grocery, Bakery and Frozen Departments, a new and enhanced refrigerated Beer section, and the introduction of a Pharmacy are the highlights of the renovation.

On Saturday, September 24, Food Basics Lindsay will open at 7 a.m., and will be celebrating by offering breakfast to its customers from with 7 to 10 a.m. with Kawartha Wholesale Bakery.
Residents can shop at the newly renovated Food Basics store daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
