Fenelon Falls Brewing releases two new beers

Fenelon Falls Brewing Co. announced the release of two new beers: East Coast IPA and Kawartha Sparkling Ale. The inaugural release will be at the Beer Garden at the Fenelon Fair, July 19 to 21.

These are two new additions to their established flagships, Fenelon’s Vienna Lager and Red Ale, currently found in select licensees, grocery stores, and LCBO locations in Ontario.

General Manager, Mathew Renda said: “We’re excited about the release of these new beers as they compliment our existing lineup nicely. As we move closer to brewery completion, and have our doors open to the public, we aim to build momentum with addition of new beer types and styles to create a truly exciting tap room representative of our brewing philosophy. This will give our community, and our supporters, another reason to visit Fenelon’s brewery.

“Fenelon East Coast IPA is 5.0% ABV, 22 IBUs, with bursts of zest and tropical fruit flavours, and a clean, smooth finish. Head brewer Russell Gibson, said this recipe was “aimed at creating a truly unique flavour profile, without adding an overabundance of hops, to make this another signature brand in our product portfolio”. “Our brewing vision is to make beer styles very clean and approachable, catering to the laid back style found in the Kawarthas, but very distinct as well,” he added.

Kawartha Sparkling Ale has a sharp, bubbly bite and crisp finish. It’s a Canadian twist on an Australian classic. “The beer style is very approachable, the lighter body is carbonated to a higher degree than most other beers, which makes the perfect drink for the dock on a hot day,” said Gibson.
