Feed it Forward with Twisted Trauma

By Lindsay Advocate

Twisted Trauma Foundation, an area non-profit, working to improve mental health supports locally, has started a Feed it Forward Program.

“We have teamed up with Jacked up Pizza and Tony’s Best Pizza and Wings,” said founder Jon Perrin. “Anyone in need of a meal can attend either location, grab a voucher off the board in the restaurant and use it for a slice of pizza and pop.”

Twisted Trauma has purchased the first 100 meals at both locations to get the program started and customers have the option to donate $5 every once in awhile to add another voucher to the board.

The non-profit also started up free coffee/tea any size, or a small hot chocolate at North Ward Coffee. One hundred hot drinks have been purchased and it’s $2 to donate to get another voucher up.
