Fatal collision in Manvers Township

Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a fatal collision on Highway 35 in Manvers Township. 

Today at about 3:30 p.m. officers responded, alongside with Kawartha Lakes Fire and EMS, to a three-vehicle collision on Highway 35, south of 7A.

One driver was pronounced deceased at scene and a passenger injured and transported to hospital.

The highway is currently closed between Highway 7A East and Waite Road as the investigation is ongoing and the public is asked to avoid the area.
