Enjoy a night of spectacle and wonder at The Great Benjamins Circus

By Keely Ross

High flying aerialists are just one act you'll see at the circus this week.

The Great Benjamins Circus is coming to Lindsay for the first time ever.

“The Great Benjamins Circus is a traditional family circus that offers amazing acts of international quality while being true to our traditional circus roots,” says Eva Rodriguez, artist & director of operations.

This fun group travels all over North America with non-stop entertainment for audiences of all ages. From Florida to California, Alaska to Newfoundland/Labrador there’s bound to be a show nearby. Rodriguez says they have lots of different acts and a lineup full of international circus superstars.

“Our lineup is full of international circus superstars. Our show consists of high flying aerialist, clowns, jugglers, Guinness world record holder: Danny Luftman and his boomerang act, Russian swing, The Benjamin’s Extreme Riders inside The Globe of Death, wheel of destiny, and specialty act: The Great American Cyclone.”

Rodriguez says out of all the acts the fan favourite is probably the Globe of Death act with The Benjamin’s Extreme Riders.

While you’re enjoying the exciting entertainment, you’ll also be able to have all the tasty circus foods like popcorn, cotton candy, nachos, snow cones, hot dogs, and sodas.

From Thursday July 4 to Sunday July 7 there will be multiple shows some starting in the early afternoon and some in the late evening. Their Big Top will be set up at the Lindsay Agricultural Society, 354 Angeline St. S.
