Election voter PIN letters in the mail

By Lindsay Advocate

The City of Kawartha Lakes would like to advise electors that Voter PIN Letters have been mailed. Your Voter PIN Letter should arrive in your mailbox before the Canada Post labour disruption is scheduled to begin on September 26. Be sure to keep it in a safe place as you will need your unique Voter PIN Letter in order to log in to the internet election site or to access the telephone election platform.

If you have not received your Voter PIN Letter by the first week of October, come in person to City Hall (26 Francis Street, Lindsay) or any Municipal Service Centre and a new PIN can be issued. Remember to bring a valid piece of ID with you such as a driver’s licence or proof of residency.

Voters will be given 10 days and 2 ways to vote in this year’s election. You can vote online or by telephone anywhere you have an internet or telephone connection. Voting begins Friday October 12 at 9am and closes Monday October 22 at 8pm.
