Drop-in badminton is back

Are you looking for something new to try this fall? Grab your badminton racquet, some athletic shoes and drop in for some fun and exercise playing recreational badminton at the Victoria Park Armoury, Lindsay. Badminton is a great sport for all ages and skill levels. Aside from being a lot of fun, playing badminton can have numerous health and wellness benefits including improved lung and heart health, improved cognitive functions and is a great stress relief activity with plenty of opportunity to meet new friends.

This program is run by the municipality of Kawartha Lakes. There will be six courts set up on the main floor of the Victoria Park Armoury and badminton shuttles are provided. The cost to play is $4.50 per person per day. All levels of play are welcome in this fun leisure program.

Enjoy the flexibility of drop-in badminton, pre-registration is not required. Badminton takes place on Tuesday and Thursday mornings 10:30am to 12pm starting September 3 and Wednesday evenings 7:30pm to 9pm beginning September 5.  The schedule is subject to change and cancellations may occur.     Hi just wondering if there is still badminton being played at the Armoury? If so what are the days and times and if it is drop in?
