Drive-through vaccination clinic at LEX closes this month
Ross Memorial Hospital’s drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Lindsay Exhibition (LEX) is closing on Friday, August 27.
Anyone 12 and older with COVID-19 vaccination appointments booked for later than August 27 at the LEX need to move up their appointments, or simply show up at the LEX on Monday-Friday between 8 a.m.– 2 p.m. for their COVID-19 vaccination. No appointment needed.
Both Pfizer and Moderna are available on-site.
You are eligible to receive your second dose if you have waited the following time intervals;
- Pfizer or Moderna as first dose – 28 days
- AstraZeneca as first dose – 56 days

Since opening on March 18, 2021, close to 60,000 COVID-19 vaccines have been administered by Ross Memorial Hospital at the LEX.
After August 27, there will still be opportunities available to get vaccinated.

Next week, Ross Memorial Hospital is running pop-up vaccination clinics in smaller centres throughout Kawartha Lakes. The schedule for these clinics, also no appointment needed, are as follows:
Bolsover Community Centre, Wednesday, August 11 from 9-11 a.m.
Norland Recreation Centre, Wednesday, August 11 from 1-3 p.m.
Kinmount Community Centre, Thursday, August 12 from 9-11 a.m.
Baddow Community Centre, Thursday, August 12 from 1-3 p.m.
Manvers Community Centre, Friday, August 13 from 10 a.m.-Noon
