Constable Ryan Boutin wins Outstanding Police Officer Service award

The municipality of Kawartha Lakes would like to congratulate Constable Ryan Boutin of the Kawartha Lakes Police Service (KLPS) for receiving Fleming College’s Outstanding Police Officer Service Award.

On April 15, Fleming College’s fifth annual Outstanding Police Officer Service Award ceremony was held. Constable Boutin was given one of seven awards for demonstrating qualities consistent with superior policing and service to their community over the past year. Constable Boutin was congratulated for his professionalism, integrity, commitment to community, leadership, valour, sacrifice and determination in the face of adversity.

Now KLPS’ current police K9 handler, Constable Boutin joined Kawartha Lakes Police Service in 2008 after beginning his career in the York Region.

About the Outstanding Police Officer Service Award

In June 2014, three Moncton RCMP officers were tragically killed in the line of duty. To recognize the contributions and sacrifices of our local police officers, the annual Fleming College, Police Foundations, Outstanding Police Officer Service Award was created.

    What a joke ! The police just settled in court 2018 after they ripped a females clothes off in a cell when she was in distress. A documentary is in the making about the cruel Lindsay Police Force.
    Why dont you do a story about that?
    Does not matter the story about what they did to that female will be out soon enough.
