Conservation conversation with the Lindsay Canadian Club

The Lindsay Canadian Club continues its 2020-2021 virtual speaker series with an event on Feb 10 at 7 pm focused on conservation and the Scugog River.

Professor Eric Sagar, a specialist in Ecological Restoration at Trent University and Fleming College along with Kawartha Conservation aquatic biologist Brett Tregunno will lead a talk about sustainability and the Scugog River.

Sagar and Tregunno will discuss the pressing needs facing the health of the Scugog, barriers to sustainability, and what the public can do to help conserve the Scugog River in the short and long term.

Tickets are $10 ($5 for students) and are available online. Purchasers will receive an email confirming their purchase and a subsequent email providing a private Zoom link to attend the event.
