Community flea market to be held at BGC

BGC Kawarthas’ Youth Warehouse is hosting an inaugural Flea Market on Friday, Nov. 19. It will be an evening of arts, crafts and foods from its youth and community members. 

This is an opportunity for our community to come together, support local businesses and our youth in some of their first pop-ups as a one-stop gathering for holiday gifts, snacks and community. 

“Youth at BGC are creating this flea market as a way to connect with the larger community, and to learn valuable lessons about volunteerism, business planning and collaboration,” says Amy Terrill, executive director.  “We invite members of the Kawartha Lakes community to join this festive activity and meet our youth members.”

It will be held from 6-9 pm outside the BGC’s Warehouse at the basketball court.

All attendees must be masked. No admission. Please bring cash for gift and food purchases.  BGC is open to additional vendors. If interested, email:
