City appoints new director of corporate services

The City of Kawartha Lakes is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Stover to the role of director of corporate services.

Stover is currently the director of finance/deputy treasurer at the Town of East Gwillimbury.

She brings many years of municipal financial experience, in both a staff and consulting capacity.

To add to her experience, Stover is a chartered professional accountant, certified general accountant and holds a Hons. bachelor of commerce from Laurentian University.

“Jennifer will be an asset to our municipality with her strong financial background and understanding of the systems and processes we use,” says Ron Taylor, chief administrative officer for the City.

“I look forward to welcoming her to our senior management team in early 2018.”

Stover has family in Bobcaygeon and enjoys a recreational property in Trent Lakes. “I’m thrilled to be taking on this new career challenge in Kawartha Lakes,” says Stover.

“My husband and I love our weekends in this area, and it’s exciting that we’re one step closer to living here.”
