Brockton man arrested for theft from Lindsay business

On Jan. 20 the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service was alerted to a theft that had occurred at a business on Hwy 36 in Lindsay.

The suspect had fled from the business prior to the arrival of police.

Investigation revealed the identity of the man responsible for the theft and a warrant was obtained for his arrest.

On June 4 the man was located and arrested on the strength of the warrant.

Charged with theft under $5000, possession of property obtained by crime and disobeying a court order is 25-year-old Daniel Scott Noseworthy of Brockton.

The accused was held in custody to attend a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice on June 5.
