British Empire Fuels announced as season sponsor for Globus Theatre

Globus Theatre has announced British Empire Fuels as their 2021 season sponsor. After a year of hardship in the theatre world, this is the good news that Globus Theatre needed to hear, according to a media release.

A season sponsor for the theatre will help the theatre create “a summer full of laughter and entertainment in 2021, which was deeply missed in 2020 by our audiences and artists.”

British Empire Fuels is a local, family owned and operated business and long-time supporter of Globus Theatre. 

James Barrett, Globus Theatre artistic producer, said, “To see this level of support from British Empire Fuels is wonderful — it shows that they recognize the arts as a vital and vibrant part of our community. Like us, they are committed to ensuring a bright future for the residents of Kawartha Lakes and visitors to our region.  In this partnership we can work together to make Globus Theatre, The Lakeview Arts Barn and Bobcaygeon a cultural hub.”

The 2021 summer season will be announced as soon as Globus Theatre is able to coordinate production plans with COVID-19 guidelines in our region.
