Boating and fishing gear taken

A number of boating and fishing related items were taken from a boat at a Durham Street West address on Oct. 7, according to Kawartha Lakes Police.

The owner of the boat indicated that sometime between Oct. 4-7 a number of items were removed from a boat that was being stored in the driveway. The missing items included 12-volt batteries, fishing rods, tackle boxes and life jackets.
