BGC Kawarthas’ Amy Terrill to address Lindsay Canadian Club at January meeting

The Lindsay Canadian Club invites the community to attend its third event of the 2024-2025 season, taking place on Wednesday Jan. 8, 2025. Amy Terrill, executive director of BGC Kawarthas, will be the guest speaker.
For more than half a century, BGC Kawarthas (formerly known as Boys & Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes) has been supporting local youth through belonging, respect, encouragement, collaboration, and advocacy. Terrill and her team support and inspire over 8000 children, youth and families each year.
Over the past six years BGC Kawarthas has seen continued development of the club’s site on Lindsay Street South, growth in Peterborough and Peterborough County, and recent expansion into Fenelon Falls.
Terrill will discuss some the challenges and opportunities for the organization moving forward.
The LCC meets at the Royal Canadian Legion (12 York Street, Lindsay). Attendees are encouraged to grab a bite to eat downtown before coming to events, which get underway at 7:00 p.m. after a half-hour social time starting at 6:30 p.m.
Non-members can purchase tickets via canadianclublindsay.com/join, or pay at the door. Lindsay Canadian Club events are $10 ($5 for students), and a season’s membership can be purchased for $50 ($25 for students). For more information, please visit canadianclublindsay.com.
