Attempted residential break-in

A resident of Hillside Drive in Lindsay woke up to the sound of someone trying to enter their home through a window on Saturday morning.

The resident confronted the intruder, who quickly fled the area on foot before he could gain entry to the home.

The suspect was described as being a “non-white male, with a light skin tone” and wearing a blue toque.

He was last seen running west on Hillside Drive towards the Scugog River.
