The Kawartha Lakes Arts & Heritage Trail was formally launched in 2017 to enhance visitor awareness of the rich heritage and wide variety of museums, historic sites, artist’s studios, and galleries located in Kawartha Lakes.
The Trail has grown significantly over the past year and now includes over 40 destinations for the 2018 season.
To access locations and information about Arts & Heritage Trail locations go to artsandheritagetrail.com.
Two new visitor experiences are also being offered on the Trail: bird and wildlife photography in the Carden Alvar and Wall Together Now, which is a restoring of the historic Balsam lake dry-stone wall.
