Arrest made following B&E

On January 23 the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service received the report of a break and enter to a business on George Street in Lindsay.

On February 12 property that was stolen from the George Street business was recovered.

A suspect was identified who had been in possession of the stolen property.

The City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service obtained a warrant to arrest the suspect.

On April 19 the suspect was located in Bowmanville and arrested.

Charged with theft by conversion and possession of property obtained by crime is 25-year-old David Hillier of Fenelon Falls.  The accused will make his first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice on May 24.
